What Are Cookies?
Just as a pre-amble into this policy - Here is an explanation of what cookies are.
The Planets Today does not directly gather any info from its visitors. However we do use third party services that can track your browsing habits as follows:
In order to determine if visitors are enjoying the site, we use Google Analytics tracking - so that we can see which pages are looked at most and for how long, and how people found us. This tracking collects non-personal information about your browser.
In order to fund the running of the site, we also use Google Adsense to supply a few adverts. This means that google is tracking your browsing history in order to supply you with adverts which are more relevant to you. You can opt out of this tracking by installing an opt-out add on in your browser.
We also have AddThis buttons to allow users to share information on the website with social media sites. These buttons log non-personal usage information when you access our site (you can opt out here). Also use of these buttons may result in personal information you enter being logged.
